ViewRanger have added topographic maps from Ordnance Survey in Great Britain, IGN in France, BKG in Germany, Ordnance Survey Ireland, and Land & Property Services (OSNI) in Northern Ireland to their on-line My.ViewRanger.com web based route planner service.

ViewRanger CEO Craig Wareham said, "Our customers have been telling us that they want premium mapping (such as Ordnance Survey maps) to plan on and they don’t want to have to pay a second time to do this.”

My.ViewRanger.com users can now access and use the premium maps that they own to create or find routes using their windows or mac computer at no additional cost. as well as view the maps on their smartphone or tablet.

With other features including one-click upload of routes to ViewRanger apps running on Android, iOS or Symbian devices, ViewRanger say the service has proved very popular and allows routes to be published quickly and easily to websites, blogs etc
