It has been reported that famous chef Gordon Ramsay wraps his cars' registration plates in clingfilm.
Famous for owning many Ferraris, Ramsey said in an interview that he does this in order to trick speed cameras - he says that the clingfilm reflects the camera flash.
He commented: "It is a great thing for a chef when they get your own Ferrari, just wrap it with cling film. I will take it out at 2.30 in the morning on the [Los Angeles] freeway and I will blast on the motorway and no police catch me and no cameras because I wrap my number plates with cling film."
He added: "It won't photograph, it reflects. Brilliant! It is a great tip. I am trying to help you."
Quite why he's advertising the fact that he breaks the law is unsure - he's clearly making himself a target for the Los Angeles Police Department. It does beg the question was the "interview" supposed to be off the record?
