Farnborough Air Show 2014

Farnborough Air Show starts next week bringing the World�s Aerospace experts to the Hampshire town. There will be the usual flypasts and demonstrations as manufacturers tempt civil and federal purchasers including the Red Arrows demonstration team.

In addition to the shiny aeroplane hardware there is also an exhibition as well. A section of the display area is dedicated to the space industry. Exhibitors include, amongst others, Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd and the European Space Agency. SSTL are part of the build team for the Galileo Navigation Satellites and ESA are responsible for launching them.

There are a number of seminars arranged in the �Space Zone� including �Improving resilience for civil and commercial Satnav using using Galileo and EGNOS�. There will be a number of different FREE seminars for each day of the show.

The Farnborough Air Show runs from 14th to 20th July for trade and will be opened to the general public on the 19th and 20th. Click here for more details.
