News: Waze Arrives On Ford Sync 3 Equipped Cars

If you're Ford vehicle is equipped with Ford Sync then you'll find that support for the Waze app, installed on your compatible smartphone, is now being rolled out.

Ford Sync 3 is the latest incarnation of its multimedia head-unit software which combines navigation, audio and the AppLink platform. AppLink allows developers to integrate smartphone apps into the vehicle's head-unit.

It's a similar albeit different system to Android Auto and CarPlay and now fans of Google's Waze apps can now cast them on to the in-car display.
