News: ViewRanger Supporting Matt Baker's Rickshaw Challenge

ViewRanger is supporting Matt Baker on his Rickshaw Challenge with real-time tracking provided by BuddyBeacon.

Matt is riding a Rickshaw from Edinburgh to London in support of Children in Need. It's an amazing undertaking on any bike, let alone one as heavy and cumbersome as a rickshaw.

BuddyBeacon is a feature of ViewRanger's smartphone software and works by transmitting your location via the mobile network. Whilst you can choose who can view your location using a PIN code, all supporters can track Matt's progress live at www.matt.viewranger.com.

Matt's 484 mile journey is expected to take 8 days with a detailed schedule available at www.bbc.co.uk/pudsey/. You can donate £5by tecting "MATT" to 70705. Texts cost £5 plus one standard rate message and £5 will go to BBC Children in Need.
