	News: Google's Turn by Turn Navigation comes to UK Got an Android phone running v1.6 or later of Android? If you have then some good news for you. Google's Navigation App has been updated and overnight an update was sent to UK handsets enabling the turn-by-turn navigation feature. Google's navigation app is free albeit basic and delivers map data over the air (OTA) so a data service is required and you do need to have a good network connection. The app has a novel StreetView mode with turn directions overlaid over the streetview data but how well this actually works we cannot comment on until we're up and running. As yet handsets running earlier Android versions are not supported. We have HTC's Hero handsets which are still on 1.5 but HTC have promised an update to 2.0 shortly.
