For both older and newer models.
TomTom has released a number of zoned maps for users of older devices with reduced storage capacity. _________________ David |

Downloaded and installed on my GO1005 and I thought it had all gone well, until I checked POI's; I can no longer see Bus Station category in Tomtom poi's list. I used that every day to find specific bus stops. Have I done something wrong; or where can I find them? |

Try a drum reset on the unit by holding the power button about 20 seconds till you hear the drum sounds and see if they are listed then. _________________ David |

No, tried that and they're still not there. Any other suggestions please. Out of interest would it be possible to extricate them from somebody else's unit if they have them; an older map possibly? |

I always wondered how bus drivers found their way around all the stops. _________________ Dennis

Has anybody out there downloaded this new map? If so, I wonder if you would be so kind as to check whether you have POI category Bus Stations available? This way I would know if it has been dropped or my download skipped it for some reason. Thanks in advance.
I have asked Tomtom but they have not replied. |

I have bus stations on mine for my GO520. I don't know how good they are - seem to only list within a mile of anywhere. On reflection, for Swindon I get (8?) screenfulls, about 48 bus stops, and that reminds me that there used to be (was there?) a limit of 50 to display.
Anyway, if you want any more info on them, just ask and I'll look. _________________ Dennis

Thanks for that reply. Presumably you have downloaded the latest map? If that is the case then it would appear my download has lost them somewhere. |

Yes, it's the latest map.
Now that you have raised POIs, I've just looked on my brand spanking new GO6100 - Lifetime World maps, Lifetime Traffic, Lifetime Speedcams (maybe), y'know, the whole nine yards. But I can't see any sign of POIs, not even the silly TomTom Places. So now on that device I can no longer Find, POI (TT Places), Fish and Chips. Nor Bus Stations. Some people ask why I have more than one device. That's why. (One of the whys) _________________ Dennis

Do you drive around with 3 devices operating at the same time? |

I have downloaded the latest map to my 5150, and don't care about bus stations as I don't get the bus. |

I've just had an email From Tomtom,
"Yes, 2nd line team did check with the new map installed and the Bus Stations has been removed from the new update.
The referenced information on your e-mail will be forwarded to the corresponding departments for review and within the possibilities added or improved to implement your TomTom experience."
So does this mean they have removed it from just working on the Go1005? Has anybody else upgraded their Go1005 to the latest map v960, and if so, do you have Bus Stations poi's available? |

I still have Bus Station POIs (showing bus stops) on my Via 135 with latest maps. _________________ Anita
