That was with the latest maps by the way. It is looking like a firmware issue. |
Except my firmware which is the same as yours doesn't take me that way _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

Which way does it take you then. It should stick to the A265 the whole way. My 2598 wants to take me up Burgh Hill just after Etchingham station. However, I've just tried it in Basecamp and it is correct. |

Just a thought but have you entered any additional speed limits along the route - if that's possible on your device. It may make a difference. |

If you recall I've checked this before, my 2508 sticks to the A265 ... last time I queried whether perhaps you had TrafficTrends running which might account for it, but you said you don't. It won't even take me that way if I select shortest route. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

How strange! I've done master resets each time. Is there any way one can do a master-master reset if you see what I mean?
Can you set up speed limits in the unit? I know you can in Basecamp. |

Yes, I am doing the 'proper' one. This is very strange. I won't be able to wind back the firmware as I thought. As Kremmen pointed out, the maps need to be in sync now after the update earlier this year.
Many thanks to everyone who has contributed to this. |
