Where does it mention SatNavs?
To an extent I agree in principle with all the measures but taking tinted windows how do they deal with cars that already have them as standard and not peel off film, and foreign visitors?
I definately agree with headphones and earpieces, I've seen some attrocious driving from people who are unaware of their surroundings wearing these. _________________ Satnav:

Sorry - I misread it. Because it mentioned non-fitted attachments, I thought it also meant sat navs not part of the car.

Very good article though and a lot of common sense in there. Trying to police anything similar in the UK would be pointless/ignored.
Round my way there are so many cars with all round tinted windows that have obviously never been pulled over, wrong character spaced number plates and I would guess at 1 in 10 on a mobile.....
I got a bus last week and I was amazed at the various traffic lights, looking into cars from the higher position, how many drivers had a mobile on the go, left hand down by the gearstick, so out of view to most. _________________ Satnav:

What I was worried about was using the bike-bike radios for which we need headsets in our crash helmets.
My contact in France says that is not what the police are worrying about.
BUT - we could be targetted if they did want to go for us.
