|
|
I've just bought a Nuvi 2599 having had a TT 730 before. I am a subscriber to the speed cameras - but I have no idea where they live in this new device.
Any clues appreciated.

Never mind - I used POI Loader and that has done some sort of magic.

Have you followed the Garmin instructions here and used POILoader to install the files?
Or are you just trying to install them like a TomTom by dragging and dropping the files to the device (which won't work.....)?
They get packed into a file called POI.GPI which I believe lives in a folder called POI (or similar) |

Well it's called whatever you want it to be. I name mine speed cameras.gpi
Either way .gpi files are best placed in the POI folder although nuvis tend to hoover up .gpi files wherever they are. |
