I run it on an Apple iPhone 4, and this morning, when I ran the app, it opened up with the zoomed out map of the UK, as normal, but then didn't zoom in to my location and begin working.
I noticed the little location arrow wasn't showing in the bar at the top of the screen. I check the locations option in my phone settings menu, and it is set to "on".
I don't know what else I should check. Can anyone offer me some help or guidance, please? I'm a bit of a novice in these things.

Cheers, Robert. I was almost too embarrassed to admit how dumb I'd been. At some stage, I must have touched the crosshairs & switched location off without noticing. I didn't realise that I just needed to touch it again to restore harmony and equilibrium.

Never be embarrassed to admit things like that on this forum, as I said above there are bound to be others who will find this thread useful and hopefully thank you.

I've done the same, and I'm sure that most users of CamerAlert will have done so once or twice.
So for those that haven't - or for those of you searching for the answer.
If your CamerAlert isn't tracking your location, then you may have touched the "crosshairs" GPS button which turns the GPS functionality on and off, it is on the bottom left-hand corner of the screen and looks like:
iPhone
Android
