My phone broke (hangs when making calls) and I have a replacement (both Nexus One).
I have installed CameraAlert on the new phone, but have lost my own cameras. I am using the same SD card and so assumed that the cameras would have been stored on that.
I can still switch my old phone on if necessary to copy any settings but am not sure what I need to copy to the new phone.

Hi Blarm, welcome to the forum

Have you tried connecting your new phone to your existing PGPSW account? It will be easier just to download a new, updated database on your phone.

If you have already hit the device limit, please raise a Support ticket and one of the team will be able to amend your record on the database.

There's no mention, in the manual, of where ‘My submissions’ are stored. Maybe Lutz or another member of the team could provide the info?

Thanks Gerry, I linked to my account and have downloaded the latest database and that is all working fine.
What I have missing are my 'own cameras' that I added to my database when I saw mobile cameras locally that were not in the database.

They're in the database as pMobiles so you don't need 'your' submissions as such? Simply make sure you have 'Unconfirmed' cameras turned on in the alert settings.

Unfortunately your own cameras are lost when you do a complete reinstall of the application.

The idea is that your own cameras are temporary, until they are accepted into the database, so that you can clear them out (there's an option to remove them). The application is not designed for a scenario where you keep your own cameras forever.
