What a waste of money

15 months ago I bought a Hyundai iX35 with built in sat nav.which added around £1100 for the Media Pack as its called.Well what a waste of money as the maps are at least two and a half years out of date. I have tried to be patient with them but its just no good and the current cars still have this original out of date map. The maps are produced by Nav-man and I am told they are supposed to be one of the best. When it is released it will be around £100 for a DVD but there are no signs of it yet. Talking to friends this seems to be a big problem with the after market , sell the car and that's it.
I have resorted to buying another tom tom which defeats the object if the built in one and you don't seem to be able to add cameras ( unless someone tells me different)
If tom tom can charge around £24 for 3 updates a year something is seriusly wrong.

Navman make satnavs, not maps. It is likely the mapping data is from Navteq?
