TomTom GO 940 Live - Best Navcore version?

I've tried to replicate your solution but I can't get it to work.

I've reformatted the TT and copied back the 9.058/v875 back-up I took this morning. Everything worked as it did yesterday.

I then got a clean MicroSd card, put the 8.371 navcore on and the EU map without the mapsetting.cfg file. The 940 has gone back into a reboot loop without getting further than the Splash Screen.

FlashTool and hard reset do not improve the situation.

Well, a big thanks to everybody for your help. I've got my 940 back working and that's the main thing. I'll carry on dabbling to see if I can get it to work as I would like.

Hmm not sure it's not worked for you

In fact I was surprised it worked for me as loads of folders such as Voice, Zip, Contracts, etc are missing from the SD card but it works just fine.
