Hi
Got my Zumo 550 [2008] out of the draw not been used for 3 or 4 months,turn it on the screen comes on for 5-10 seconds then just goes blank I do this when its pluged into a power source,anyone help relative computer numpty.

| Leave it plugged in to a power source for an hour or two before switching it on it could be that the battery is so flat there isn't enough power from the charger to supply both the device and recharge the battery - Mike |

| The problem is the Zumo wont take power from the car kit or the bike mount its only possible to charge it up with the usb. |

Have you tried a new battery?
My 550 takes power from both the car mount and the bike mount plus computer and mains supply
