|
|
I have recently installed Camera alert on my iphone 3Gs. Currently running the 59p version and im keen to subscribe to full £20 version. The app runs fine on the iphone, but I cant get it to run through the Mercedes command system speakers via the Mercedes bluetooth kit. If I can resolve this problem, will certainly sign up. I have tried the obvious, which is pressing the music button and changing the two settings within to no avail. |

Does your iPhopne work through the Merc speakers, i.e. answering phone calls and/or playing music through them? _________________ Dennis

It depends which Multimedia unit you have installed. Only the higher units support AD2P and therefore allow streaming over BlueTooth. It doesn't matter if the phone will connect and make calls etc as this will use the Hands Free Profile (HFP) which is seperate.
Can you tell us which option was installed and which year? |

From what i can see it's only the top end units that support AD2P. Even with the 2011 units. I maybe wrong but it might be best to get MB to identify the unit for you and see if BlueTooth Stereo Streaming (AD2P) is possible on that unit. |

Should work when you are listening to music via the iPod then. |
