I have a problem!!
For years on my old TT1 and newer TT720 I have run your Camers poi's with no problem.
The new TT Central European maps are to big for my 2 gig internal memory,
I have bought and installed a new Hi spec 4 gig SD card and as directed by TT put the maps on there, everything is working just fine
EXCEPT your camera allerts, there is no directory to open as before to copy the camera poi's. I have copied them onto the new card but they do not work , what am I doing wrong ,
or is this something to do with TT around with 3rd party poi's
Help please

They go in the map folder. If your new map is on the card, they go in the map folder on the card. If all you've got on the card is a folder called Central Europe (or similar), they go in that. _________________ Dennis

You have to create a new folder in the root drive of your device and use the exact folder name (with upper and lower case):
SdkRegistry
Then you place the TomTom.mnu into that folder and restart your TT after disconnecting it from your pc via the Safely Remove Hardware Icon.
I have no idea if it will work, but try my menu for the TT ONE v4 HERE
Even if it does not work you can see how the files are placed into the root drive.
You can disable the menu at any time by renaming the TomTom.mnu file or deleting it. The next time you then start your TT it will go back to the original default menu.
Thats great!! Thankyou!! I used your file, but my iq wouldn't change from the menu screen at all. To fix this I went into the TomTom.MNU file and changed your text for the text in the link I already had. Now I have all the cameras on there and the voice alerts as well
If I delete the SdkRegistry folder from the unit now, will I lose all the speed camera alerts?
I think that when I was originally trying to create the MNU file I wasn't saving it in the correct format.
If anyone buys an IQ2 then don't panic about not being able to get the camera database from this site onto it. It can be done!!

I must admit I was quite interested in updating to one of the newer Tom Tom 25 series models from by GO520 which I've had for many years. Looks like I'll be looking at a Garmin or NavMan now then. I think the brand allegiance I had to Tom Tom has just gone out the window. More fool them I say. Oh well, bye bye Tom Tom.

In case you hadn't realised, TomTom do now support POIs on the newer devices. _________________ Darren Griffin - Editor I ran the 2013 London Marathon in support of the National Autistic Society see here.
