Tom Tom 3 updates

Question for Dave.

I'm a little confused about Tom Tom 3 updates. I am using Tom Tom 3 mapping software V3.01 with a Fortuna Clipon BT receiver and Ipaq 2210. Tom Tom have issued an upgrade V3.02 specifically for Ipaq 2210, although I think this if bugged according to the forum pages. Am I right in thinking that this update is actually for use with the Tom Tom GPS BT receiver and not the mapping software?. Tom Tom answer to my questions tell me to install the upgrade V3.02 in lieu of the existing GPS driver and use this for Ipaq 2210.

Currently my system appears stable, at least on short journeys, so I'm inclined to leave alone. If it aint broke, don't fix it. Your comments please Dave.

Yes it can be confusing and v3.02 is for the GPS rather than the app. If you have a stable system then don't bother upgrading the driver.
