FM transmitter on 8450?

I was looking forward to this function: but I can't see any mention in the 8410 manual, does anybody know if it is an implicit feature of the "flagship model"?

I can't find anything either. I thought that with the 8110/8310, which does have it, there was a warning on the website that it was not legal in all countries. I can't find it though, and could be wrong - it's certainly mentioned in the User Guide.

I'm a little surprised if it has been dropped, as it's not shown as illegal in Germany, and obviously that country determines a lot of the usefulness of some of the facilities. For example, in the Live services, UK parking is not yet useful, as far as I can see.

I wonder if it's been dropped to enable the new features to be included, but can't see why.

So it seems that we have to double-check the availability ofwhat we use currently, AND weigh up the actual benefits of the Live services for the UK in deciding when to get it. Cool

Best to wait until the comparison data is available on the web. However I'm certain I saw the FM transmitter feature mentioned on Amazon (who now list the 8450 correctly... however only appears if you search for the 8410).

So hopefully Amazon hasn't got it wrong. Would seem odd to drop the FM transmitter from the replacement for the 8110 / 8310 models.
