Telmap My Places website

One of the reasons I've not used Telmap more is because of the hassle of inputting an address. I was therefore excited to discover the My Places website, thinking it would allow me to send locations to my phone via sms or by online syncing. I can't seem to get these features to work, however. I was able to send an sms to myself, but I'm unsure how to import it into Telmap. Likewise, I tried to updating "recieved locations" on my phone, but nothing shows up. How can I get these features to work?
