well checking on royalmail.co.uk

putting gatwick Road in produces 73 business with an address on Gatwick Road RH10 9xx .

This just highlights the problem - uncertainty of destination - which is why you have a gps nav system in the first place

Gatwick Road isn't in RH10 9xx! Most of it, from the A2011 roundabout up to the Radford Road roundabout, is in RH10 2xx and the small portion from Radford Road roundabout to the A23 is in RH6 0xx.


Well, that's the official postal address! It is in fact an office building accessed off Gatwick Road. Here's the result from the Royal Mail site when entering that postcode:

Looks like I'm a bit behind the times! I've found this information on a couple of websites, but the information is from 2001!!

My excuse is that I don't generally proide postcodes as part of a database. I don't know what NAVTEQ and TeleAtlas will come up with in their defence.
