If I pay for a year's subscription. Very kind of them. I have a 1 week old Go730T with a 12month subscription already!

I also had an email from TT today offering me 2 months traffic sub free, and I have one that runs out in June.

I have also recently taken out a new 12 months sub, so missed out on this offer. 
Also got a mail for a discount price of the USB RDS TMC Traffic receiver, which is about £40 inc postage, so it's still cheaper elsewhere. |

I got the same email, even though I have a 940 with Live traffic!

You need the TMC receiver for the 940 if you want traffic information outside of the country where you have subscribed to the Live Services.
