Hey Andy,
Are you still pushing forward with this or has 8.302 taken the wind out of the sails...... so to speak.
I've not seen anyone report the stutter yet........ i know its still early, so wondered what you planned? Wink

I don't check in for a day and they release the update!

I will give it a run tomorrow and see how it is.

Should still push for an extension on the map upgrades that we have paid for but not been able to use properly for the last 3.5 months!

Well I finally tried out my 720 with latest version (302) firmware and I'm pleased to say I suffered no stutter problems at all on two journeys (running on internal battery). It would appear the latest udpate has fixed the stutter problem, well at least for me for now! I assume the lack of recent postings from others is a good sign also.

Many thanks go to the op (Andy) as I sure this thread helped to speed up TOMTOMs efforts to reslove the problem - I'm sure they were probably aware of this thread. Thanks also to all those who posted their reference numbers on this thread.

Now we just need the FM transmit enabled (with music), which I believe TOMTOM are working on or so we are told.
