does anyone know the make or model of the sat nav fitted in the Mitsubishi Outlander 2057 please

Can I add speed camera database to this?

I am not sure you have chosen the best forum to post this on but fortunately I have an Outlander.

To start I assume you are talking about the re-vamped model released in 2007 (as opposed to the 2003 model). And furthermore I also assume you are talking about the integrated Satnav built into the entertainment system (MMCS Mitsi Multi Comm System).

Well afraid to say you cant add speed cameras to this. In fact it is disappointingly limited in what you can do. All custom POI's are loaded manually and are in a list rather being categorised. The only input method available is manual or via the DVD (and only for maps). There is also very limited map updating available for that matter (try doing an internet search for Mitsubishi mapping updates). The sound system is fantastic though. If I could install my own satnav software on to the system (it is a hard drive with operating system after all) I would pay good money to do it. The hardware is great, just let down by inferior software in my opinion.
