Holux GPSlim 236 seem to have a fault

I am suspecting a fault with my GPSlim 236, when I switch it on it seems to connect , all light flash correctly, bluetooth connects however tom tom does not recognise the reciever let alone give a signal,
However when the battery is removed from the slim 236 for a short while and re energised I seem to be getting a connection and signal .
I have had this unit for a couple of years are the 236's showing a life span ?

Anybody got a UK telephone support number, had one but can't find it for love or money

any thoughts or advice welsomed before I throw money at a new reciever, just re installed my pda from scratch and it still happened so don't thinks its the pda

The UK Agent for Holux no longer exists so that won't be an avenue for you I'm afraid.
