Is there a good way to let you see the profile of a route?

Experimenting with the Satmap I can only do this by introducing intermediate points manually. It would be useful it a route profile could automatically insert points every 10m for example.

From the Routes menu select the route you want and press the bottom left button (View). You should then have the route map on the screen and can then again press the bottom left button (Profile) to view the profile. Hope this helps.

I can do this, but for a two point route, the profile is only a straight line.
I want to see the profile between the points without adding more manually.
