Hello there

I have the mentioned sat nav system in my 2005 subaru forester and I'm gradually customising it to my liking. I've just added the TMC module for traffic which has improved things.

There is still one thing that really annoys me about this unit!

When the car starts moving many of the menus are turned off. I find this extremely unhelpful. Does anyone know a way of overriding this?

Thanks

I'm not aware of any solution/fix for that.

I think there must be a way.

Someone on the subaru forum posted this but wasn't able to find the pin code

"Anyway, if you press the title bar of the menu screen for about 5 seconds the screen invites you to enter a PIN key. My friend has a similar system in his Discovery-3 (both systems are made by Nippon I believe) and knows his PIN code (he has a friendly LR dealer).

I haven't approached my dealer yet... just wondered if anyone here had tried it with any success? "
