FORD FOCUS TITANIUM BUILT IN SAT NAV

I recently bought a focus Titanium with a built in sat nav, no operating instructions came with the car for the sat nav and its in km does anyone know how to change the setting to miles?

I'd go back to the dealer and ask for the manual, it should have come with a comprehensive user guide.

We have contacted them a couple of times but they have been of no help.

as silly as it sounds i'd write to head office and complain - why should you pay extra for something in your car that isn't set up correctly and, as it is, doesn't even work properly?!

In answer to your specific query, and assuming you have the CD Navigation Unit, you need to go into SET - LANGUAGES - and then choose the appropriate English setting for Metric (Km) or Imperial (Miles).

I got bored of waiting for my manual (bought the same car last month and they cannot appear to find a copy of the manual anywhere) so I did a hunt around online and found two copies of the Ford Navigation manual in PDF format.

There are two links on that page, the first is for just the CD Navigation Unit and the second is a combined manual for both the CD and DVD Navigation Units which appears to be a little more up-to-date.

just thought i'd say thanks for the link, i have downloaded and printed the user guide. shame the dealer couldn't have done the same.
