Autoroute and TomTom GO 720

Hi does any one know how to add a route created in Autoroute into a Tomtom GO 720 Very Happy

If you mean as an Itinerary, here goes.

The File is saved in AR .axe Format.

You then need a program called ITNConv, which is currently at V1.63

This little program will take the Waypoints from the AR File and convert it to an .itn File.

Copy this to the itn Folder on the Device.

Autoroute is now rather old hat when it comes to planning a route for a Tomtom. Google Maps is far superior and when Google Maps is partnered with Tyre I find it indispensable. Tyre can be downloaded and is free.

Hi Guys,

Many thanks for the information, I tried ITNConv and transferred it into TT last night.

It worked a treat although I havn't tried it on the open road yet, but I will do when I come back off holidays.

I must admit I have never heard of Tyre 1 but will certantly give it a try.
