Installing memory map on medion MDPPC 150 (Micromaxx)

I managed to install Memory Map on my Mio 168 using settings MENU, GPS, SETUP = Navman (manufacturer), PiN (model) and the port and Baud options then greyed out. However on the 2nd Pocket PC (Micromaxx clone) with the same settings I get "GPS: can't open COM port". Tried different settings but no luck yet! The unit runs Medion Navigator 5 OK so the GPS is working, but as this unit is a little more marked then the Mio I wanted to use this for walking where further wear and tear wouldm't matter too much. Can anyone help please?

OK I fixed it - not sure how but if it helps anyone else:

For starters i uninstalled Medion Navigator 5 in case there was a conflict, then on the GPS setup:

NMEA
NMEA 0183, RMC
COM1: Serial Cable on SP2
4800

This is not the same as the Mio 168 (see my other post) but it works!
