New TomTom EasyPort Mount - A Question

I was looking at the TomTom One XL V2 and I notice that it now has an EasyPort Mount that folds into the back of the unit.

Does this mean that you have to remove the sucker from the windscreen every time you leave the car (assuming you don't what to leave your TomTom on view for theives)?

Or do you still have the option of leaving the mount on the windscreen and just taking the TomTom with you?

I will be really put off it if it is the former!
