Apart from occasional update problems from TomTom Home, my 720t has been brilliant. But although the visual speed camera warnings still work, and the speed limit sounds still work, I have lost the warning sounds whilst approaching speed cameras. Can anyone help? |

to the forum.
Which speed camera set? TomTom or PocketGPSWorld?
Have you tried the simple reset?
Can you think of what you may have done which might have caused it?
We always ask a first time poster this one - Have you done a backup using Windows Explorer? _________________ Dennis

Thank you for the prompt response - I've just solved it by going into the Safety Cameras settings (TomTom ones) and reset all the categories to a polite chime. I first tested the audible warning with another POI category so knew it should work with a safety camera - one of the updates must have altered the audible warnings from the original polite chime? |

How do you find the TomTom cameras? Are you on their subscription or just using the ones which came with it originally? Either way, you might like to have read of THIS _________________ Dennis

I bought the 720t for a European holiday through France and Germany and paid for the camera updates - the coverage was excellent in various countries and UK seems fine. I'll decide whether to renew nearer the time and will certainly look at the Pocket GPS speed camera POI as an alternative. Does it cover Europe or UK only? |

It covers them all in a sense, although they are separate downloads - UK is MPH whereas Europe is km/h
Your subscription entitles you to download both, so you don't have to worry about individual countries. _________________ Andy
