Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has managed to upload to a Kenwood DNX 8220 BT or similar unit any vehicles or background.
I've no idea how to get new vehicle cursors on to it (http://www8.garmin.com/vehicles/) and if I plug in a USB Drive to upload a background I don't the memory or change buttons don't work.
To get the system to recognise the USB for uploading background put the radio into the standby mode first. The necessary buttons should become enabled.
To get the garmin vehicles onto the unit, plug a usb lead into the back of the unit and connect it to your laptop. Swith the unit to sat nav and you should get two options Garmin Mode and Mass Storage. Choose mass storage and you should have a removable drive appear on your laptop. Simply copy the vehicle files into the Garmin/Vehicles folder.
