How to open Nuvi 360 ?

I recently bought a 360 and while traveling with the 360 mounted to the windshield with the suction cup let loose and the nuvi just fell off and landed screen down on one of the rails for the passenger seat. The result is an unsightly gouge in the screen protector, the touch screen seems unharmed as I can select anything that is under the gouge with a little bit more pressure than the undamaged part of the screen.

Is there any way that I can open the unit so I can remove (or replace with something else) the damaged screen protector ?

It's not just a protector - the top 'squashy' part of the screen is the touch sensitive layer. You could approach GARMIN who should be able to quote you for replacing the damaged part.

A bit late - but you may want to take a look at the BRODIT / ProClip mounts. Not cheap - but very reliable.
