NOKIA N73 TO EMTAC CRUXII BLUETOOTH RECEIVER

Good Morning

I was wondering if you could please help

i have an CRUX 11 / BTGPS receiver and id like to connect this to the new Nokia N73 mobile phone

In trying to pair it with the mobile phone the bluetooth LED flashes every second ( which is not connected )

The phone asks for the passcode which is "0183" which then the receiver start to flash ever 2 seconds ( which is good )

But as soon as the passcode is entered the receiver goes back into flashing every second ( which is not connected )

The mobile phone is saying that the device is paired , with having no software in the phone just yet i can not check any positioning

is this normal for the receiver to go back into not connected mode and only connect when required or is there an error and
this unit was not made to be connected to the new style of mobile phones just hand held Palm with Pocket PC

It's normal behaviour, once you install an application that uses the GPS it will poll the BT port you configure in the app. It is this that will trigger the connection tot he device.
