Hi All,

Firstly want to say a big thank you to Darren for his help on :http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=139642
Without this post from another user I would never have got my PDA working.
I have just got a second hand Ipaq 3630 off ebay and it came with an Ipaq Navigation System Jacket by Navman.

After lots of messing about I have finally managed to get the correct driver for the Jacket and got my first gps signal after 4 hours of searching Google for the correct files.

The problem I now have it this. The PDA has Tomtom Navigator 2 installed, I have put the GB maps on the CF card but Tomtom will not see them. it comes up with an agreement page and then the next page says "NO MAPS FOUND"
I have tried putting the map files on the root of the card and the Great Britian folder but it still will not see the maps.

As the PDA only has 32MB built in I can not store the files on it so it has to be via the CF Card.

What am I doing wrong?

Any help from anyone would be greatly appriciated.

TomTomV2 is VERY old. TomTom will not 'see' any maps that aren't supported by the app.

Did the maps come with the unit? If not you will need to check what version of TomTom Navigator is required for your maps. Maps for V2 came on a CD - you just installed them from there. I don't remember the folder naming convention for V2 - I'm sure it was different than what it is today. After installatuion you will need to enter the unlock code that came with the maps.

Thanks for that. I do not have the disk for Tomtom 2 but the files were on the CF card that came wit the PDA. Does anyone know a way of getting a newer version of Tomtom working on WM2002? I have tried installing Tomtom 5 but when i try to run it it says it can not locate "tomtom Navigator" eventhough the install completes ok.

PLease help
