Globalsat BT338 Power On Heat Problem?

Hi,

My Globalsat BT338 has developed a curious problem particularly when the unit is cold. Switching on will power the unit up (ie green light on) but the bluetooth function will not work. Heat it up on a radiator for a minute or stick it in your pocket to heat it up and then it starts to work again!

Is this a common fault, is there any fix. Curious to know if others have this issue.
