Go to the camera downloads page and scroll down to the list of help guides, select the help page for the TomTom 910 which contains the table you are looking for, it is near the end of the page - Mike |

Actual Times/Distances are
Mph - 30s - 20s - 15s - 10secs warning.
80 - 1173- 782 - 587 - 391 yards
70 - 1026- 684 - 513 - 342
60 - 879 - 586 - 440 - 293
50 - 732 - 488 - 366 - 244
40 - 588 - 392 - 294 - 196
30 - 441 - 294 - 221 - 147
20 - 294 - 196 - 147 - 98
However, if you are driving at the speed limit all the warning will do is advise of a camera ahead.
If however you need a warning, to slow down if you are over the limit, by up to 10mph, I would recommend using...
Mph - 30s - 20s - 15s – 10 secs warning.
70 - 1173- 782 - 587 - 391 yards
60 - 1026- 684 - 513 - 342
50 - 879 - 586 - 440 - 293
40 - 732 - 488 - 366 - 244
30 - 588 - 392 - 294 - 196
20 - 441 - 294 - 221 - 147
e.g. If you are driving at 80mph, in a 70mph limit, and want a 30 second warning, you would need the 1173 yard 80mph warning distance. |

my rule of thumb: multiply speed by 10 30mph = 300yrds warning
for mobiles i add an extra 100 yrds

If you only add 100 yards at 30 mph and you are speeding then I would suggest its already too late.
I personally use 100 yards per 10 mph for fixed and then double it for mobiles it gives you more of a chance
