Disable TT Home startup

I want to stop TT Home from starting up when I turn on my computer, as I am fed-up with it taking over my screen for half a minute every time I plug in my PDA.

I tried going to File / Preferences in Home and unticking the box for auto startup - I get told that I do not have the necessary permissions to do that. I am the only user of this computer and am on a fully admin account, so I don't know what it's on about.

I then went to Control Panel / Performance Information and Tools (Vista Ultimate) / Manage Startup Programs. The trouble now is that under the entry for TT Home, the buttons for disabling startup are greyed out.

Any Vista gurus out there, who can tell me how to stop Home from auto starting? Thanks

3. Add or Remove User Accounts

You will now see the accounts available on your PC, is yours listed as as 'Administrator' or a "Standard User'?

Thanks Darren, I found the setting there for switching off the User Account Control, which I did, then Home let me untick the startup box. Job done.
