The Institute of Engineering Surveying and Space Geodesy (IESSG) from Nottingham University’s invite you to attend a unique evening lecture.

Satellite Navigation and You!
What is satellite navigation, How does it effect you, and how will the future be changed by a European Global Positioning Systems (GPS)? These are just a few of the questions discussed throughout the evening.

“A History of Satellite Navigation” by Air Commodore Norman Bonner.
Norman is the former editor of the Journal of Navigation and is currently the President of the Royal Institute of Navigation.

“Satellite Navigation – How it Works and What it’s for” by Professor Terry Moore
Terry is Director of the IESSG and is the only Professor of Satellite Navigation in the world. He is currently working on projects with the European Space Agency and the European Union.

“GPS Question Time”An opportunity to question leading Satellite Navigation professionals to find out what’s in it for you!
