Hi all
just upgraded to tomtom 530 and have 2 questions - please
1) Does the traffic receiver do anything other than pick up radio traffic messages? As in does it update the route info?
2) can I change the safety camera warnings to those I used to have on my PDA - tomtom 6?

Update the route info? If you mean "will it modify the route to take avoid traffic problems"? then the answer is Yes so long as you select that option in Traffic's preferences.

Whose warnings were they, TomToms or ours?

1) - great news, thanks. I thought it might just be a glorifies radio aerial
2) it's tomtom's straight from box.

I see you are a subscriber so the first thing is to get rid of TomToms database and download ours, install guide is here.
To disable TomToms pre-installed database, select TomTom services from the main menu and then disable the Safety Cameras feature.
