Mapopolis & Speed camera database

OK, new Mapopolis user (January 2007) and as a sat nav system goes, V happy indeed.

Downloaded the speed camera database, installed it, and can run it but only if I run all other alerts - so in town it is useless, TBH, as too many alerts come up.

I realise mapopolis isn't well used in the UK, but I know from reading some older posts that the older databases had a icon, and could run under the heading "Cameras".

Is there any chance, please, of the Mapopolis download being updated to allow it to function properly?
