Installing POIs on a Packard Bell 400

Hi I have been given a Packard bell gps 400 unit for christmas. I have managed to download the POIs from this site but I cant get them to install. In short the navigatior software that came with it creats records that when shown on the unit are tosh. The lat or long values apper in the name feild and in all the device can't make head nore tail of the info. I want to Install the POIs before I pay to have the speed camera info. Any pointers would be a help. I also have tried to change the order of the infomation with no luck.
