BT-338 with AXIM 51v ROM A12

I have just updated to WM5 ROM A12 (previously on A08) on an AXIM 51v.

I now can't get the BT-338 to work. GPSInfo "StartGPS" gets the Bluetooth flashing quicker on the GPS but no GPS data is received. Previously working Nav software (Pocket Navigator 6 and Memory Map) also can't get GPS data and fail in seemingly random ways when trying.

I think I have set up the GPS/Bluetooth correctly. I've also tried hard reset etc. and reloaded ROM A12 twice.

My Bluetooth settings are COM7 and Serial Port with Partnership established; GPS settings are Programs - COM4, Hardware - COM7/Baud Rate 33600 (38400 is not an option), Access - Manage GPS Automatically.

I have run out of ideas!
