Is it just me or does anyone else have the problem with the POI Proximity Warning in that the flashing POI Icon at the top of the screen shows all red pixels as grey? Other colours appear OK. This did not happen in TT5. |

Have you been changing just the ov2 files and not copying the bmp files to the device? - I would think this is the most likely cause of the problem. Simply download the database of your choice from the site (Speed Zoned, Consolodated by type or single file) but this time copy the ov2 AND bmp files across to the map folder. The icons should then apear in colour. In fact a new database was released earlier this afternoon, so you may as well update the whole lot in one go - Mike |

The icon bitmaps are there with the maps and show in full colour in the Navigator and Maps.
It is the large flashing icon in the top left of the screen with the countdown distance below it where the red dissapears. The flashing icon on the actual road displays in full colour |

But have you downloaded the latest icons (bitmap files) from this site and transfered them to your device?. If you have done this then the flashing icons on the unit should appear in colour - if you have done this exactly which device (hardware) are you using ? - Mike |

I don't use all the PGPSW icons but found some others that I prefer elsewhere. On TT6 these displayed the same 'greyscale' issue you describe...
I found that by re-drawing and saving at 24 bits per pixel instead of 8 bits the problem has resolved itself. I assume this might be what PGPSW have done with the standard icons available with the database. |
