I've been trying to get on TT website since 06.00 this morning Tues 12/09/06, with no success. Still not available at 07.25.
Anyone else having same problem, is TT down. |

Yep, just tried at 07:28 and was sent to Google, which listed lots of sites with www.TomTom.com on them! Perhaps they are gearing up for a big announcement. _________________ Tim |

The only snippet that I came across was this about Discount prices for new Maps to existing users.

It's all hype from TomTom....
I'm sure they do it on purpose?!
You know what, we should all ignore the next big announcement, and see how they like it!!! _________________ Steve

No, I can't see any, either. It was purely a guess. _________________ Tim |

So you're happy to be strung along....
The idea of quotes, is to quote exactly as written!!! _________________ Steve

im not being strung along mate.
i dont hang on every word tomtom release.
what i have does what i need so ive no reason to be concerned about all the "hype from TomTom...." as you put it
and as for the quotes...if that was the case then how come i am allowed to edit what you said? |

Moderator hat on...
It *IS* bad form to change a quote. Just because it is technically possible doesn't mean you should. It is just as easy to quote the original and then paste your re-wording after it.
Anyway, please can we knock this one on the head before it turns into another really long "exchange of views". Thanks. |
