I think I have sorted the problem out now or if not I am able to load the camera updates but it takes a bit longer, can anyone tell us if I am able to download other zip files ie: csv files to the magellan because I would like to add different catergories like pubs or hotels into the magellan.

If the file type your unit supports is csv you can download any POI file format and use POIEdit to convert the format to that you require, do a google search it will soon find POIEdit and its pretty straight forward to operate, I can't remember the exact format you need for the device, but once converted to csv you can then use Excel to further manipulate data if required. This gives the opertunity to use files in the ov2 format as well as others - Mike

the files for the magellan are mgln files but when I try to save the csv files to mgln they do not show but they have been copied over to the mgln file but I am unsure how to manipulate and convert the data from the excel programe because I am new to all this.
