Welcome Graham...
An odd place to put your first post! It'll help you to get quick and accurate answers if you either add to the end of a similar topic, or start a new one (we won't bite!).

OK lesson over...
Have you looked at the via Michelin help file yet?
Click on "Help" "Speed Cameras" (in red) in the box just to the left on this page. Click on "Speed Camera Installation Guides and Forums" and scroll down to find your unit.
Once you've done that (and maybe also read the beginners guide), come back with any further questions... Smile

Hi,

I've got a Garmin iQue M4. I've just downloaded and installed the POIloader version of the speed camera database and this seems to have installed ok. Is there any advantage in using this new format instead?

Thanks,
Rob

Mike,

Downloaded the TT Go camera update and unzipped into TomTom Home\Content Folder. Linked the 710 to Home and installed the new cameras .... Worked flawlessly .... Well Done!

I would like to put in a vote for the Mac version as time allows (Trying to slowly migrate to Mac environment)

Thanks for making this process a snap!

Brian

Earlier on in this thread, the request was made for shorter descriptions...was this just not possible in the end ?

Having had the same problem of too long a file name going outside the bounds of my TomTom's screen, I wrote a little Batch Script (Should work in any version of DOS or Windows) to reduce the filename length. It can be tailored to reduce / insert as many characters as you like. (Just not very easily :D but its in its first revision)

All you need to do is drop it into the same folder as the extracted speed cam files and run it. It does the rest. Currently it removes the pocketgps_ from the beginning of the name, making it easier to read.

If anyone wants it, i'd be happy to post a link.
