Upgrade to NAV5 query

I asked TOMTOM for advice to upgrade from NAV3 and I received the following reply

"You can upgrade to Navigator 5 simply by purchasing a Preinstalled SD Card. You must deinstal Navigator 3 completely before you do this"

They then gave me a link which was only an offer to buy SD cards with Nav5 maps on and quoted "install these memory cards into your device and instantly navigate dood to door"

What confuses me is: TOMTOM tell me I have to uninstall NAV3 but makes no mention of the fact that I have to buy the CD to install NAV5
The SD cards from TOMTOM were approx £70 but I see to buy the NAV5 in a box which includes the CD and SD card is approx £130 to £140

TomTom's SD version is pre-installed and does not require the CD. You simply insert the SD card and it will prompt to auto-install the Navigator 5 application.

You must however uninstall v3 beforehand.
