WM5 Tomtom 5.2 update.

Hi
i remember reading here that you could download the 5.2 update from tomtom then buy the GB map, activate and you will have a legit working version of tomtom.
Can someone point me in the directon of the thread.
If not could someone confirm if this is correct. Does anyone know the exact procedure to get it up and running?

Every little helps.

50 euros sounds better than £175 and i dont even need the gps receiver.

Someone, anyone?

sorry but it wont work you have to have an original map installed and activated to activate the addon map

NB please do not disscuss ways round activations on this forum

if you read my first post. i remember reading here that this was a legitmate way to buy the software without getting a receiver.
But then again i remember reading how good copilot was from one of the other moderators before he revealed his own interests.
NB: dont try and make out im trying to get around activation. if you read my post it says i want to buy it stupid.

i put that on the end incase someone came on saying they "knew a way round the activation" it has happened before
